CEC Efervesan 1000 mg
CEC Efervesan 1000 mg (20 pills) is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat ear, nose, throat, respiratory tract, urinary tract, and skin infections caused by specific bacteria. Cefaclor, an extended-release form of the drug, is also used for bronchitis.
If you are allergic to either penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics in any form, consult your doctor before taking CEC Efervesan 1000 mg (20 pills).
There is a possibility that you are allergic to both types of medication. If a reaction occurs, it could be extremely severe. If you take the drug and feel signs of an allergic reaction, seek medical attention immediately.
Diarrhea is a common problem caused by antibiotics, which usually ends when the antibiotic is discontinued.
Sometimes after starting treatment with antibiotics, people can develop watery and bloody stools (with or without stomach cramps and fever), even as late as ≥2 months after having taken the last dose of the antibiotic. If this occurs, contact your doctor as soon as possible.
Side effects: diarrhea, severe skin rash, itching, hives, difficulty breathing or swallowing, wheezing, joint pain, fever, painful sores in the mouth or throat, vaginal itching and discharge.
